Mike Stanbrook has led The Rock from its beginning. He with others caught the vision that God was giving us for a church that is significantly different from the more traditional models around. He has a passion for all to know Jesus better.
Trained for Baptist ministry at Spurgeon’s College Mike has had an interesting career in insurance, risk management and business consulting before moving to the Peninsula. Here he gives his time to the building up of The Rock, through Bible study, teaching, prayer and evangelism. He is actively involved in the wider community and for relaxation enjoys messing about with steam engines!
Mike is married to Carole, who is also active in leading The Rock, and they have two grown up children.
